The school follows National and Local Authority guidelines in R.E. and is concerned with educating the children about religion rather than instructing them in a particular faith. The teaching is concerned with the development of attitudes and values that promote self-respect, respect for others and a willingness to be tolerant of other faiths and cultures. The children are encouraged to develop a respect for the natural world and sensitivity towards the mystery that underlies the human experience.
There is a daily act of worship for every pupil, which is broadly Christian in character. This is an opportunity for the school to come together to celebrate achievements and share the values of the school.
